We never did things like that either and I'm only 11 years out of high school. I love each and every one of my fish. I even get upset when one dies. So I think fish are living cretures and every living thing should get a chance.... I love plants too, my husband says we live in a Jungle!!!!

I'm from Idaho, too, and when I lived there my friends and I killed all sorts of things for no good reason at all. It's part of the culture I was immersed in. Very sad to think of now.
