Fish fighting!!!

I got a new fish and they are just keep chasing around I put more rocks in there and caves and they are still chasing. Is there anything I could do.

It's a 80 gallon aquriam with two electric yellow females and 2 orange blue. And 1 male labidochromis hongi which is the new one

Okay which ones are fighting? Are they still fighting.. They may just be establishing dominance which can take a day. If they are just chasing its dominance if you actually see them lock jaws then you got a problem...

It's just the 3 blue ones that are chasing each other and a little bit touching each other. Right know they got a little bit chilled out. thanks for the help everyone.

So...6 fish total? I would overcrowd it to reduce aggression. At least 20 fish for 80 gallon or if u want to keep fish population low then all male tank.

If they are chilling out it sounds like it was just establishing dominance and putting the fish in its place.

Not a fan of africans but ya sometimes you have to overstock. They do have nice colors and add alot of movement, but something about hand feeding a south or central american cichlid. They actually care when you come in the room
