fish for 125 or 150

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
125 you could do red bellies, you can have a decent sized shoal too, if you over filtrate and do biweekly water changes you could keep a dozen no problem. I have 15 2 inches ina 55 right now that will be moved into a 125 when my rays get bog enuf for a 180 or larger.

you're nuts.. no way could you keep 12 9-10" reds in a 125.. Someones gonna end up dead..

I was thinking about upgrading to a 125 also and was possing the exact same ? as rayboy...I REALLY love shovelnose's and already have a baby lima that would go in the 125 im getting along with my 13 1/2 in. pleco... Would a tiger shovelnose really be a good idea when the tank is just 18 in. wide... true TSN only get around 30"-40" ....although I have only seen ones this big in Ted's outdoor aquarium...

Unbelieavable but I have recently purchaced my 125 gallon aquarium!!! and made the worse mistake ever of purchasing a Hybrid...can anyone guess which one?

Knifes are cool, its just hard to keep them feed if they are in a tank with anything that feeds more aggresively (my oscar in this instance).
If your into odd fish you could try a birchir, although they dont get massive.

I just took home a 125 today.I have a pair of jags im putting it there.
i thought they didnt do well living as pairs due to their aggressive nature ? i too think these are magnificent fish. ive been reading up on them for a few weeks and ordered one last week. he will be here next week hopefully. im looking forward to the challenge. good luck wiith yours.

I would forget arows and rays and get lots of bichirs.
