I have a 518 gallon tank that is almost doen and i have an idea on what i want in but but how many of each should i get and can they even live together?? Heres my idea for fish:
Freshwater Stingrays
Clown Loaches (i have 3 in a 55 that will be moved to this tank)
Common Pleco (in my 55 that will hopefully be able to be moved)
Arowanas
Clown Knifes
Oscars
So how many of each should i do?? and how well will the live together???

what are the dimensions? i dont think oscars and fw rays mix well.

7 feet long by 3.3 feet wide by 3 feet high

Anyone???

They all sound like they would work. I would keep the pleco out so it doesn't go after the ray. Rays and plecos don't usually mix to well.

Rays need alot of special care, and the only tankmates appropriate for them would be the Arowanas and Clown Knifes.

Clown loaches will become food.
Plecos will stess the rays.
Oscars will stress the rays.

Not to mention it would be overcrowded with the rays, as they have an enormous bio-load.

Remove the rays and the tank should have no problem.

no pleco, go with bichirs:drool:.

k so take away the rays, and what would the clown loaches be food for???
so how many of each could i have if i tanke the rays out???

k so here is my new idea then
Clown loaches maybe (what would they become food for)
NO Pleco
Arowana
Clown Knife
Oscar
So how many of each should i shoot for???
