id get one black or silver arowana, either 2 or 4 oscars and one clown knife(maybe more dont know if theyll fight. youd have more space if you only got two oscars so Id also get some bichirs and a pleco. The clown loaches would be eaten by the clown knife or possibly the oscars.
yeah but i would be gettin everything when they were small and my clown loaches are already gettin pretty large and would never fit in a small oscars or clown knifes mouth, the only chance they would have is if i had pristine conditions, that allowed to oscars and clown knife to grow super fast and the clown loaches to grow even slower then they do
That being said i don't know for sure if an oscar or clown knife wouldn't eat something that didn't fit in it's mouth for sure, but that is what i have heard, so if everyone thinks it's best that i don't have the loaches then i will not have them.
from what ive heard rays are delicate fish that really need special care and would really limit the fish you get. oscars would definetly be a no, so youd have to choose. For more info id do some research in the ray section to learn what you could keep with them and decide if you want them or not. clown loaches grow super slow and would most likely end up food for the clown knife.
are you thinking of getting just oscars aros and cks? if so, id go with 2 cks, and either 3 aros(no jars) and 4 oscars. what are the dimensions of the tank?
forget my last post, the dimensions change things a bit. id now do 2 oscars, 1 arowana, 2 cks, and some other big fish such as bichirs or big catfish. You may be able to do multiple arowana, id check the aro section for more info. 2 oscars will be the best number imo because of the 7' length. Technically you could add another but 3 is a bad number of os since 2 will gang up on 1.
