Fish for Church

might be better to go to glass shop and replace the piece of glass.... would make a better fix too....
 
you could also make the the back of the tank and silicone a piece of glass over the intire cracked area... and you cant put new silicone over old silicone... and if you cut one side you will need to replace all the silicone... i would go to lfs and spend the 40$ on a new tank personally...

15$ thats thin glass so its cheap... might be cheaper....

Disagree with you here. Ive had some fish die in my classroom. Hate it or not, pets help teach children about death and the cycle or life....

depends on the age of kids.... when my fiance wanted to do stuff like this in her class... i told her to get easy replace items... i wouldnt want to listen to a bunch of 3 year olds screaming and crying cause of a dead gold fish...

lol, i would go with some ghost shrimp, a Guorami, maybe an apple snail to take care of the algy. just a thought.
