Disagree with you here. Ive had some fish die in my classroom. Hate it or not, pets help teach children about death and the cycle or life....

When the adult service gets interrupted by 10 kids crying because Nemo died, the parents will not be happy. A Sunday school teacher is usually a volunteer, which unfortunately makes all the parents feel that it's their right to critique his or her every action. Also, there is typically more of an age range in these situations than in a traditional educational classroom, some kids might not be emotionally mature enough to deal with these issues when ages might range from 4 to 10+. I'm not suggesting that the kids should actually be *lied* to, just that their "exposure" can be minimized. Of course, that's just my opinion!

Both points are well taken.
Thanks for your opinions.

but yeah... any more opinions about the glass? will it hold?
If not, I was thinking about turning it into a terranium... bah

I'd just throw a couple Cons in there and let them breed...my kids friends love coming over and watching all the babies swimming around the tank....
as far as the tank goes i hate repairing glass tanks, throw an add on CL and ask for a donated tank for church, i'm sure you'll get someone.

convicts would be a good idea too... didnt think about them... they breed in any water conditions too lol....

you should definitely get a school of red belly piranhas and feed them live mice every sunday:headbang2

lol jks but just dont get a black ghost because pple seem to get rly attached to those for some reason, i would say angel fish because theyre easy to maintain and breed easily so the kids will get all excited when they see the babies lol :D
