No you can't keep it with an eel. Ya, FH's really range in price. Depending on the quality and what Chris said. Mine cost me $20 but he is a low grade FH. Their is low, medium and high, just depends.

You would have to call your local fish store, you won't find these at Petco or Petsmart. It might for awhile but eventually one one fish will be alive in that tank and my moneys on the flowerhorn. You asked for a mean nasty aggressive fish and that is definitely one.
No, they can't be kept together. Unless you have a really big tank FH's should be kept alone.

If you have a eel and jd in the tank why would you want to put in a really bad ass fish with large teeth
cause pretty soon i am going to have to get rid of themso i was looking for a fish that wont out grow my tank and i was hoping that it would be able to live with them and they wouldnt try and kill each other to offen. what about a pike or a red tailed cuda
