Awsome stuff, fungshui really does breed some of the best, id love some of there top quality red tex.
Funny we posted the same chart. Did you see that post
So i understand that the original familys were not included in these breeds...but yet becoming a consistent breed of there own and displaying simular body and caracteristics do you not think that they join the fh family just evolved from the original chart.... Imo if thiese fish were combined at the begining in the early 90s then the would be on that chart and there would be an additional sub family

And whats an original red syn

"As far as I know...none at all..." cloudy lol, does he go on to state that these breeds are not considered fh

My female is in pre-spawning colors in the pic, and at that time the spots may temporarily disappear (although hers are still there just a bit disguised by her spawning dress).
The name trimac has to do with the 3 spots.
But since FHs are basically derived from trimacs, in any spawn, there may be a number of individuals that look like one of the original parents. This doesn't mean they are one, because the genes are in all the fry are still scrambled.
If it was sold as a FH, you must accept it as such, and unless you know the parents are true trimacs, it probably isn't one these days.
Female trimacs are very chameleon like depending on pre-spawning, and fry rearing.

ohh, i see. thanks for the info.
mine is very aggressive. O.O i mixed it with my oscar and it didnt do very well. hmm, probably ill be moving her to my 90.
