They look like goodeids. Guppies, endlers, and mollies can interbreed. And swordtails interbreed with platies but not the others

I think we settled on Xiphophorus variatus.
Just thought it would be fun to show how they’ve colored up— The males are actually quite pretty. They pay no attention to the gambusia and vice versa (that I’ve seen), and they didn’t pay attention to the wild guppies when they used to be in the 20gal with them.
Since they’ve proven to be hardy enough to survive the winter without a heater, I’ll probably see if I can isolate them in a 10gal and raise more young for next winter (I like them better than gambusia haha)
