i seen a few on a fishing charter once.. cool ****ing fish

ive seen them bigger than that when i wass fishing. You can smell them when they are close, not pleasent.

haha reminds me of a fishing trip me, my buddy,his son,wes, n jeffish went on a couple years ago...... we were drifting off catalina island when my buddies son SCREAMS MONSTER!!!!!!!!! i look over the bow...... and its a baby mola staring eye to eye with me...... it was still a good 3-4ft diameter...... interesting to watch their eyes....... they say you can judge a animals intelligence by their eyes....... the fish made eye contact with each and every person on the boat they just swam off........ bastard was lucky we didnt have a gaff....... jk well maybe not..........

I saw one of those at the Monterrey Bay Aq. a few years back, there cool fish.

Oh yeah, well I caught a Freshwater Drum today! That's kinda Monster, in a bottom feeder way.

sunfish, apparently they don't do well in captivity.

apparently they are very rare. If you've seen one in real life you're apparently very lucky coz they dont surface much

The Monterey Bay aquarium usually has one of these on display in their million gallon display. I'm surprised they caught one since they typically only eat jellyfish.
