Fish ID

So, as I said before, the tank is setup. I will be adding some sand to the tank later on, and hoping to get a school of minnows. (the two I have right now are still doing fine, with no issues) I made two hiding spots in the tank, and they are larger enough for the Green Sunfish to hide in. They are constantly hiding, but I poked the female out of her hiding spot, and strangely she will swim out side of the entrance, and whenever I walk by the tank, she will dart back into the hiding spot. Right now she is swimming around the tank, but the Male won't come out. I poked him out of his spot, and he went into another. Beautiful fish. The Pumpkinseed Sunfish is always out, along with the minnows. I am hoping to get some pics soon, if I can find any batteries for the camera, lol.
 
i catch alot of them in cast net they are perch (same thing as blue gill) catch some under an inch they do well eat almost anything good starter fish and i find they survive well in my case.Oh , and if your catch really small ones good oscar food :)

both are part of Genus: Lepomis and not far off from each other .. and most people catch both but dont know that they are different fish species..
