The reason they get bigger in the wild is because nature takes care of the fish better than most people do in aquariums. If one cannot offer an environment to raise a fish to it's full size then that fishkeeper should not be keeping that fish in the first place. It's sad that most aquarium fish that can grow beyond 1 foot is living in improper conditions, then those fishkeepers are telling people like you that this fish can only grow to a certain size in an aquarium. DO NOT practice this kind of fishkeeping and do not tell others that fish can only grow to a certain size in an aquarium. Do the responsible thing and get rid of your iridescent sharks and clown knifes now. A 90 gallon is not nearly big enough to house a clown knife and chances are that you won't be able to find someone that can house such a large fish.

This fish can only get that in the wild!!! it takes more than a decade for that fish to get that big!!!
Your taking the wrong attitude, it will outgrow the 90 and mine grew at around 6"- 8" a year so no it will not take a decade to outgrow that tank more like 1 or 2 years

Well, when someone tells you thats large enough your going to say your getting a bigger tank.Enough of the BS.Youv'e already given yourself a bad enough rep, don't make it worse.Your ID sharks will get atleast,2 feet, and with proper care 3-4ft IN CAPTIVTY!And the question is not "if" he is going to get to big.A fish with a maximum size WILL grow to it,it will not grow to your personal preference. Not too many people want an active, fish eating,4 ft catfish on their hands.A CK will get 40 inches, and you know perfectly well that it will. You never see them that large because of improper care from people LIKE YOU!I'm not finished, but I will try to leave it at this....and sydontisjack,I respect you deeply, but I highly doubt he is going to sell it.
