Fish in transit for to long

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
personally I wouldn't have anything shipped through USPS. Their tracking sucks anyway, UPS and Fedex aren't perfect but they're far better. I guess it doesn't matter now though.

Good luck, I hope it defies the odds and arrives alive!!

It was not by choice..

Hope he pulls through for you. I'd be skeptical about the seller tbh, it's not good business to do that to a fish.

If the seller knows how to pack fish it should be fine. Things get routinely shipped in higher stocking densities for days at a time with minimal losses.

A single fish packed properly won't be an issue.

I've seen fish that had been packed that were fine for weeks.

Post office called and said it was in. I drove out and picked it up. It was upside down in the bag gasping. I'm trying to get the water close in temps then I'm going to release him.. not looking good.

Also, this 20"+ fire eel is 14-16" if it's lucky. Kind of mad as I paid extra for the larger size.

Atleast the fish is well just scoop and drop best thing for it.

I let the bag float for 5-10 min and dumped him right in. He is going between laying on his back and twitching to frantically swimming all over sideways / upside down. Not looking good.

I told the guy to refund my money instead of sending a replacement. This size is the second issue with this transaction. I just don't trust him.
