How about let's see updated pictures and hear who this vendor is. Your not bashing just by listing who you got it from. Maybe even if vendor was on this site they can chime in.

That's the point, it is impossible to ID with any real certainty by simply viewing photos of a fish, especially in the case of the genus Amphilophus. Could a vendor make a mistake by accident, obviously, but without any evidence to prove that this isn't exactly what it was sold as ........
