All I could think about during the scene when he went to the LFS to check out the chick's wet boobage was the mess of RD/Midas that particular shop has in the row of bowed acrylic tanks. They get some pretty neat stuff aside as well.
 
told this guy at work that city park in new orleans has a whole bunch of convics in the pond since katrina. he ashed me what jail they broke out of, and it took me a second to realize he had no idea what i was talking about. made me feel like dee da dee.:D
 
LOL, i always feel weird when my friends ask me something about my fish i ramble on about the fishes diet, natural habitat, scientific name, etc... And they just look at me like HUH???? But i am proud to be a fish geek.
 
I have the nickname 'fishboy' from my friends. I bring mags, posters, anything to school to read. I even brag when Im gonna go to a LFS. Then when I get there I tell my mum everything I plan for, pretty much what they are, how big they get etc, so she just sits in the car for 40 minutes to avoids that. Lol.
 
OK..so my wife and I are tooling along the freeway on the way to the ADA convention in Sac...right? Well we start noticing these semi trailors designed to haul Tomatoes. They are basicly a huge reinforced fiberglass box bolted to a frame. I was the first to cave in and guess how many fish we could keep in one of those monsters and where we might be able to get our hands on one...

Felt like a total fish geek until We got to the hotel and found out almost everyone else had had the same thaught.....LOL
 
This is why these forums are so active and addictive. We can actually talk about the things that we know and are enthusiastic about without sounding like a "fish nerd". LOL!! AND............... we know what we're on about........... well, most of us, most of the time! LOL!! :)

did anyone else notice that in deuce bigalo that his 'diagnosis' of the lion fish was wrong? he said it had 'malawian bloat' or something ridiculous like that. i remember watching that scene and thinking 'BULLSH*T' :D

i used to bring some TFH to school to read. pretty soon my classmates were calling me fish boy.
 
I thought the exact same thing about the hurricane that is.

Today lol. First day of college, there are 3 aquariums in my bio lab class. My lab partner sees a cray and goes omg what is that?1?! And im like its just a crayfish you can find them anywhere, and in the other tanks are a large Jack Dempsey and a pacu. I explained to her that pacu are really meant for tanks, and told her they'll get about the size of her car. i loled. Thankfully as my explaination she didnt look at me like a TOTAL retard.
