Fish not growing?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Maybe your entire existence is shrinking at the same rate your fish are growing making it seem like they are not. Seriously though I never have an issue growing fish with a varied diet clean water and unstressed tankmates.

if you don't give them enough nutrition they need, they will not grow! even if the fish already max out, it will get fatter!
This is either a joke or you are trolling!

my wifes african i asure you is no joke or lack of nutrition but the only fish we have ever had with this issue.no there is no parasite either with it but to OP's case i dunno.

Well i know forsure that bigger tanks make fish bigger.

He's right! Larger aquariums induce faster growth~ Also more dominant fish will eat more (shoving fish out of the way) and intern with grow larger than others. Just some variables you may want to consider.

im selling some food rite now that promotes growth you could try and see if it works for you. its a beefheart with pro growth. also try to do 2 water changes a week

Fish have always been healthy. One case of ich once in each tank, lasted 2 days, fish are always happy healthy fins never clamped, the 55 gets daily 2 gallon changes to remove pleco poop. I'm just baffled

I had a catfish that did the same thing. It hit a point where it's growth slowed to almost a stop. Strange thing is, my buddy had a catfish from the same group that grew to almost double the size of mine. I still don't know what caused it. My tank it 3x the size I feed him plenty and change my water frequently. The only difference I know of is that mine sat in the pet store tank for an extra 2 or 3 weeks.

for small fish, larger tank may lead to slower grow or even dead because they have a difficult time finding food!
