Fish Question!!!

Thank you guys very much. Pets mart had about 4 of em in a little 20g tank with about 4 of the bottom feeders. I think im going to throw him up on craigs list and just tell them whats up and not sugar coat it or anything.

i hope you know that if you give it back to petsmart there is a good chane of it bing stunted and dying. why do you think that petsmart never has BIG pacus? once they start getting too big, petsmart 's them

They will take it back because they missold it to you,is there not something like some kind of authority you can contact about their refusal to take it back?

I will call pets mart and ask to speak to the manager and see what they can do b.c they cant just refuse to not take their fish back and they miss told me and the lady said it was a vegatarian Piranha and it will stay the size it is. Thats the only reason i got him. and the sign said recommended for 20G and up. SO i was like ok im getting a 20G soon so he should be good. but now look what happened to him..

I'm just being honest, not trying to be mean. He didn't know what he was getting into when he got the pacu and he can't properly care for it. This happens to people all the time when they take advice from Petsmart.

To take him back to the store, a large ziplock bag with a large pocket of air in it will be fine for taking him back to the store

Thats horrible about killing them and i will try very hard to be nice but i have had him since christmas and i dont know how he is surviving but he shure is which is good until i can find him a home. I just hope that he wont get his new owners other fish sick and kill them all by sickness and it all falls back on me once again.

Im not shure but i dont want Petsmart to take it back. I think im going to call a few local pet stores and if their not interested i will put him on Craigs list.

Yeah i should make a point of going to petsmart and making a scene about it but like suggested above,its probably not the best place for the fish to go back to but make your point to them.
