your the one posted and bragged about all the money you made .. i stick with my thoughts .. if your a flipper your kinda a scumbag.
I bet your line of work involves the sale of items or goods? The sale of a service? If so, you are flipping

I'm not going to get involved in the discussion between yall but I will add a funny story of my own about flipping.
Anyway, last year I wanted to make a bit of easy money in school. Non diet sodas are not sold in lunch so I saw a market. I got a few of those 48 packs of different sodas from sams club then shoved a bit of everything in my mine fridge. I got a very large lunch box (made for picnics actually and I could fit about a dozen soda cans in there), added some ice packs, put the sodas in there, then went about my way to school. I charged $0.50 for a can and was making a profit on each can. I also sold gatorades, bottled of soda, powerades, and a few other things. Tall skinny soda bottles sold for $1.50 I think, fat gatorades sold for $2 I think. I made $50 in the first and last week I was open. A bunch of idiots gathered around me at lunch one day which drew the teachers attention which shut down "Brian's black market". It's still a joke this year as a few people form last year are still around.

I regret nothing lol.
that's a fun story.. but you overlook one thing .. it isn't "flipping" it's *buying* retail and reselling.. i have *zero* issue with this.. anybody could have done it .. my point is about *real estate flippers* and those that copy that model.. here in Arizona the real estate scumbags have the laws rigged (the real estate trade has a lot of political influence here , land and housing is a huge market) so that mortgage companies can foreclose on homeowners if they are late (even 1 minute) on 1 payment and without a court judgement( most other states require a long reparation period followed by a court decision , thus giving homeowners more time to fix economic woes) .. often "flippers" swoop in and buy property for pennies on the dollar.. it's a disgusting practice that has become legitimized through time , much as a lot of anti social , financially profitable practices ..the argument they have is " the market dictates" the outcome .. well that's certainly an opinion i don't agree with..but it's the law here in az.. look up your local laws and see if they are even close , bet they aren't ....

That is flipping. Buying for less selling for more. Buying something for retail and selling for more i would consider worse as the initial good is accessible to everyone for the exact same price.

I must agree with a few posts above. The thread was about rescuing a fish for free to house it in poor condition then selling for a profit which I agree is wrong. I don’t believe flipping in general is wrong. If you disagree then that’s fine.

my definition is my definition.. sorry you disagree , but that isn't the issue here ..the original thoughts i had were about "fish flippers" and the parallel's to house flipping ..*you came in* and started a fight with me.. sorry you don't know the difference between what flippers do as opposed to regular retailers(again that's a *you* issue, and the fact you have a few buddies here backing you doesn't make you correct ) , it isn't the same ..

you have anything constructive to add of just some generic smart ass quips?.. where i live is certainly more complicated than the small issue of mortgage issues(i don't even own land so it isn't even on my radar as far as where i live).. really do you have a constructive point or are you just trolling b/c you don't like me? i think anybody with an iq above 80 can figure that out ...

You were going on and on about Arizona property/mortgage laws being unfair AND made the point of stating how it's not like that everywhere else. And YOU are the one who resorted to name calling.

I’d like to point out that while sam’s club is available to the public you do have to pay a membership to shop there which is about $100 a year I think. My prices were on par with what you could get from Walmart and even if they were a little more mine were ice cold which is what made them sell along with them being non diet which is what the school only offered.

If you believe there is a difference then you are blind to the reality of what the consumer world feeds on
