Here are the pics from the filter setup right up to the water fill. The pumps use are 11000 litres capacity per hour. Air pump for aeration, and so on.

Water pump and accessories

Starting on the Support Glass Strips. Lots of Silicon was used about 20 over tubes in total at the end of the Gluing process. Wooden strips of 1" by 2" was use to raise the glass off the filter floor so the the water flow would be in the correct sequences. After the Support strips was dry the glass panels was glued the next day.

The rain came in the afternoon and the filter glue up have to stop. The large plastic water tanks are to collect rain water for future use. There are 3 of them. As you can see it was pretty wet.

The two main Filter Sections are completed now and the water filling will be done. The water fill took about 18 hours to do.
