Sorry first. Plenty busy. the usual. Got a bit of problems to sort out. The pond is ok now no leaks and will be doing the filter next. Got some pics but
had a little problem with the glass and silicon seal to the cement walls and so will have to retify that as well.
Will only post on the filter making sections when it is completed. however it have been raining and so not much could be done. Was in a hurry on one of the glass panels and it broke when water tested due to the pond wall still being damp when done.
Till the filter thing then cheers.
For my end. back up using the industrial epoxy floor sealer. but rather costly. Luckily did not have to go for this option..
Thanks for readin Red. and welcome. sure love your arowana postings. Huge following i must say.
yes to clear the outside filter from the fallen leaves, rubbish etc..
Already found lots of bugs, leaves, plus the children sweets wrappings ..
Sure will do.
May not be using the skimmer. depends on the feedback that the pond gives when the filter is running. other options would be O3 - using an ozonator. more U/V ... so many different things. well have to wait and see how the filter copes with the load when it is done b4 adding those stuff.
Will do Tim when the filter are completed.
Got to solve a few silicon on cement issues first...
cheers.

I want to ask a question about something dealing with how to fix a pond of this same design that leaks?
Lets say that you all own a pond just like the one being built in this topic.
Lets also say that you also have found that the cement leaks and needs to be sealed before you can fill with water and add fish.
Is there a type of coating that you could roll on or spray on that would make the pond waterproof?
Given the shape of this pond, with the many pipes and long walls, is a pond rubber liner workable?
What would you do?
For my end. back up using the industrial epoxy floor sealer. but rather costly. Luckily did not have to go for this option..
