Not to be a negative nancy but if you are still in school federal law prohibits you from working more than 16 hours a week during the school year and it only goes up to 20 hours a week if you are 16-17. Petco pays close to minimum wage which is $7.25. So lets say Petco pays $8/hr. During the school year you can only make $128 a week before taxes. After taxes you are only going to be taking home about $100 a week. And if Petco is not close to home, gas costs are going to eat a very large portion of that money.
During the summer you can work 40 hours a week which equals about $240 a week in take home pay.
i was thinking the same thing. ive worked since i was 14 1/2 and ive never made enough money to get that many tanks making over minimum wage. i have a full time job now and i could afford those tanks but the water bills/food/electricity would probably be out of my budget.
