great video

Very impressive and beautiful displays. I can't believe my wife ever complained about me having four tanks up at once. She would pass out from shock if I ever had your set up. It was hard to choose a favorite. I enjoyed every cichlid in the video. But I have to give it up for the Trimacs since I may be getting one myself soon. That male was awesome! Thanks for sharing your fish with us. Now go drink some Gatorade so you can make it up those stairs. I want to see the other tanks!

Mel, I love watching your videos. I can't tell you how many times I have watched the various ones you have out there, the commentary is great and the videos are always very enjoyable. Dovii's gone wild is one of my favorites, how big is the monster 24+?. How old are the Dovii and Umbee? What is the footprint on those two monster tanks? The Umbee tolerate the smaller guys in the tank.....that's good and surprising. Great collection and commentary.....let's me know how to pronounce some of the names. Thanks for sharing such a great collection.

The male Dovii is about 7 years old give or take. He is third generation from my orginal male I got in 1975 or 76. I have brought in several females wild and otherwise over the years to keep the gene pool strong. At one time I had three spawing pairs in that 600 gallon tank (8 long x 4 wide x 30 high). The Umbee is much younger about 3 to 4 years old. The female is the same age. Oh I almost forgot the male Dovii is still growing and is around 22 to 25 inches at this time ....

Thanks so much for sharing. Real nice collection of fish and tanks.

Great video and even better collection. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, just wow....simply amazing everything. I can't believe how the Labiatus and Citrinellums all hang out together like a bunch of silver dollars or something. And I love how the Umbie are so chill with their tankmates. I guess that shows what more space will do for temperament.
