Wow, just wow....simply amazing everything. I can't believe how the Labiatus and Citrinellums all hang out together like a bunch of silver dollars or something. And I love how the Umbie are so chill with their tankmates. I guess that shows what more space will do for temperament.

Mel can clarify, but I think he had a pair of festae and a pair of pantostictus in there with them originally and the umbee killed at least two of them and mauled a third. In a 1000 gallon tank no less!

Yes I lost a spawning female Festae and the male was badly mauled. The male Pantostictus's killer is unknown since it happed very suddenly and I was not home to witness it. The only original fish in the tank besides the Umbees is the female pantostictus. The new fish I added seem to be doing well because they are too small to be considered a threat and too large to be thought of as food. If/when the Umbees spawn things may change....

Some awesome, awesome tanks and video!!!! So you have 10 tanks down stairs, how many above???? Your electric bill and food bill must be incredible. How do you find time to maintain them all and what kind of filtrations systems do you use?

Mel if I'm ever in Seattle I'd pay admission to do a live tour. :naughty:

I'll even bring cat treats.

You'd better bring a lot of treats. We have three hungry cats!!!!!!!!!!!

Very beatuiful specimens. Would be interested in some fry from that wc festae if she does spawn. Thanks for video. Enjoyed it!
