True, and normally aren't in those conditions long.. but the hoarding.. NO!

But I would go with the BBB, but only if you are ready to be persistant.. and dedicated.. I doubt one phone call or letter is gonna do it.. or some of your local officials..
 
I kinda volunteer at a lfs that is just getting up and running, just helping with the fresh stuff in my free time and I have been there when the state inspectors come. They don't even look at the fish. Just a quick look at the other animals so I doubt anyone would do anything...your only bet would be peta but they would prob just kill all the fish and burn the place down possibly killing others in the process.....so dont do that

Excuse me bottomfeeder there is no bashing going on here. Not one single person here has done any bashing.
 
as for trying to slag a store, i gave no info as to the store name location etc. this is not a personal vendetta against a store. second, the fish was as wide as the tank,and third on the first page of posts there are 2 thread games, a dog on a treadmill, and a post about tatoos. so much for not wasting thread space.
 
Which is why I personally said I could not give advice either way because no way to validate.

The slag comment was not meant specifically about your thread here, but generally about these kinds of threads.

Very true. Don't let some people's opinions effect your opinion on MFK. You are welcome here. Sometimes people jump to conclusions or categorize you as something you are not or simply misunderstand intentions. Whatever, it happens.

I think anyone's concern was that you would bash a store by name. And yes there are a fair amount of threads like you posted, but there are also a fair amount of stores that are hard not to mention or do something about. People can skip your thread if they don't want to read another post about a crappy pet store. I post negative stuff about Petco all the time, I will never buy anything alive from there.

Again, welcome to MFK and enjoy the site. :headbang2
 
I agree with the above post peta is a piece of work lol.

Sorry for all the rough comments, its unfortunate but it does happen on here occasionally as it does in all aspects of life lol.

If the store's conditions are that bad, complain to the manager and or owner. If you just don't approve, just avoid it.
