Fish store employees... My god

like 1 hour or so before i went to the fish store.. the amonia was a lil high but i did a waterchange.. damn dirty goldfish

What pet store carries fry?

My petsmart. they have 3 planted tanks and there oscars have fry along with a couple outher chichlids and they put them in there... and also they have a tank just setup for fry...

they sell fry for the same price as otuher fish though so

I was under the impression, from my local Petsmart, they cannot even sell trade ins, let along fry. Must be different in Florida.


Any Petsmart employees here?

I would think their big filtration system would not be beneficial to fry. they would get sucked up.

We have a petsmart here with an adoption tank. I got my 16" clown knife from there.
I dont think they're supposed to have it though.

also, milkman.....either you didnt have enough filtration or your tank wasnt cycled if you had ammonia present.

There filteration is setup different in the planted tank its like a cycle the water gets sucked up at the bottom and drips from the top tank down the 2 outher tanks (3 tanks total) and gets sucked up again... and theres carbon bubles in the water... But idk they always have oscars in there that are super small.. so im guessing its fry.

and the amonia thing.. idk it might of ben cuz i dropped some of my ammonia in the tank. not sure though
