Fish sucked into siphon

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The eye looks good, the whole fish is looking fine now and eating well. The funny thing is it has started fighting with he other Festivum now (lip locking). I've never seen them fight before. I figure it was the dominant individual that got injured, and the subordinate thought it might have a go at becoming number 1. I'm just guessing. Any other ideas?

Maybe he's just cranky, I'd be pretty cranky too if my head got stuck in a siphon :-)

One time I was emptying a temporary aquarium I was using and one of my pregnant female guppies got stuck in the little opening before the siphon connects to the tubing. I quickly removed the tubing and was trying to figure out how to get the guppy out because pulling on it wasn’t working. I freaked out and decided there was only one thing to do... I put my mouth on the end and blew a quick spurt of air. The guppy went shooting out like a dart from a blow dart gun back into the water. It was fine and swimming around after that but I was definitely a bit shookin up.
