for valentines day my wife decorated the front of my fish tank with these sort of sticky gel letters and hearts that read " happy valentine day" we have been going back and forth since i saw them. it is really driving me crazy. can anybody relate to this, would you put up with it or take them down?? fill me in

You've dealt with it for nearly a year, so my hat is off to you. My wife had many ideas for my tank. So I gave her one to do with as she pleased. It soon became a hodge podge of various fish that fought all the time. She threw in the towel and I got a new tank out of the deal. That being said, it really doesn't matter what we say. You have to live with your wife and the fallout that may come from taking down the heart stickers. Listen to your wife, man! Things are so much easier that way...well, things are at least a lot more quiet that way.

My isue with my wife was here trying to chose the fishes i got , and all i did was to tell here it was my hobby my hobby and that i dint get into her hobby so please respect my hobby enfosis on my hobby

Err.. as in, she decorated it early, or it is still there from last year?

im assuming decorated early. in my opinion, it's worth the argument, there's no chance i'd leave that up unless it was under some crazy circumstances, and even then the longer you leave it on there the harder it will be to get off (depend on what kind of sticking it does)

Just be glad she didn't put pencils, erasers, calculators or various other school supplies in your tank! A friend of mine is a teacher and that's what his students did last year, stressed the fish out, most of them died!
