no.. she decorated it early for this year...

Let it go, dude. It was an nice gesture, and she will be offended if you take it down. It'll show that you "don't care". :grinno:

Calling it "vandalism" tells your feelings about it. Sounds like she's competing with the fish for your attention. You'd better give her some attention! Whatever happens, you're stuck with it until Feb. 15.

I feel sorry for people that can't stand up for themselves in general, even more so when it comes to spouses.....is your wife feeding the fish, doing WC and so on ? if not, she has no business going near the tank.
(it's normal for spouses to have an input when it comes to fish budget because finances are family matter, but that's about it)

Leave it on til valentine's day, then the day after (not a second sooner) take them down. Kind of like taking down the christmas tree after christmas!

Don't worry about the sticky stuff, just buy some goo-gone to remove it :)

It's obvious that some of the people on this board, aren't married. It's called "picking your battles" and "keeping the peace." And if they are married, they won't be for long!

Just remember, if you do this nice thing for her, she'll 1)be less mad @ the hobby taking up your time and 2) will owe you ;)

speak for yourself ......I'm happily married and my wife understands that the fish is my hobby and respects like wise ....there are no "picking battles " since there are no "battles" :screwy:.....it's all about prior communication and mutual agreement

Suck it up until Valentine's day, at least your "surprise" wasn't a bunch of african cichlids >.<
