So I've been tossing around the idea of getting my first tattoo. I've also reached the decision that if I'm going to get one I might as well do it MFK style and go big..... What do you think about putting a snakehead/wolf fish combo on my side.? I'm really open to other fish like stingrays, payara, ATF, etc but there's two things. 1.) I don't want the common koi and it's gotta have a lot of color. I'm really into music so my sister thinks I should get a tattoo along those lines but I just think a fish tattoo would look so much nicer as a work of art on someone. Here's some cool pictures I've found so far.

I know these are koi's but I love how the artist was able to place all the color on the fish and use black/white for his water. It just places a lot of emphasis on the fish and eludes the water somewhat almost to a look of smoke/fog.

Fish tattoos look really cool, IMO.

Idk what you keep, but I say get whatever you keep/like. Aro tattoos look SWEET. I think a big bichir would look pretty cool too.

Yea, those are both great fish. I've kept snakeheads back when they were legal, piranha's, wolf fish, flower horns, bichirs, oscars, pleco's, knife fish, clown loaches, aro's, bla bla bla. I guess it's just narrowing down to about 1-3 cause I definitely don't want a whole aquarium of fish on my side. I would also want to give the artist enough size to show fine detail on each fish so 3 might be too much. hmmmm...Redline Snakehead & Aimara? Aimara is not exactly the most colorful fish but I have seen some redlines with excellent teal coloring on their tops

What fish are you considering?

I have one that I drew of a shark with a tribal design in it. If I were to get one on my side, however, I would probably do it of a payara. In my opinion they are the most awesome looking fish. If I got that I would do it black and white though. For color, I think the snakehead would look awesome, or maybe do an asian aro.

There is a lot of fish tats you can look in this thread! http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/showthread.php?t=98545
Yea, I looked through all 19 pages and I don't mean this in the wrong way but I didn't care for too many of them. I'm willing to pay the price for an experienced tattoo artist that's able to get very technical with things (such as the one above).
