i thought about gettin a gar tattoo

All i can say is before you get any tattoo RESEARCH for a artist who specializes in the style you want... nothing worst then trying to save a few bucks going to a dodgy artist and getting a crappy tattoo that will be on your body for life...

Either way, good luck with it...

Get one of the Hoplias in your avatar. Give the artist a treat drawing those teeth :grinyes:
And if you ever want it removed, just get in the tank with him and dance around so he sees the fish shaped tatoo and bites it off!!

Problem is finding an artist worthy of giving you your first tattoo. I am just very particular about art for life.

That Octopus tattoo is SICK>>>>>>>>>>!. I would drive/fly to that artist for an aquatic tatt. I love the detail without the "typical" black outline.

Should have a tat of an arrowana.
Yea, I think I'm going to go with the Asian Koi background theme, yet do it with an Asian arawana. The fish just has sooo much color to offer. I'm going to have to do some digging through the media lounge again over there but I've found some very red/orange looking aro's that I would like to use. Probably one similar to this but with a lighter color in certain areas, also add the Asian background I was referring to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ERLUXUIX6n0

Also I found a guy @ work who has a Asian Koi tatto sleeve on his right leg. The attention to detail is VERY good, so I might go to this guy and see if he can sketch me some pictures up. The downside...$100 an hour. The sleeve on this guy took 10hrs so it cost him a $1000. I would expect a similar amount of time if not slightly less on mine.
