yes i did forget the small female convict which no one ever touches( i guess she is the boss) but the other 150 is not for them. I plan on getting another 150 to replace the 55G tho, but due to economy i am having to put other things first.

But in the meantime you have got some tough choices in that tank. What to keep and what to let go. The dovvi is a serious tank busters when full grown and will probably rule a 150 by himself. If they are rare in your area, he might be the keeper. (A local shop by me has a breeding pair and they sell the babies all the time at really reasonable prices)

Many of your other fish are much more common and might be easier to replace in the future as you wait on a bigger tank.

This is exactly why it is commonly suggested to only stock a tank with fish it can comfortably house as adults.

While I respect your decision to prioritize life and spend money where it is more important... It doesn't look like your Dempsey appreciates being low on the priority list... and if the economy doesn't magically come together soon even more of your fish are going to resent you...
