my hybrid jagXtexas is always up to something.the usual stuff for big cichlids:moves rocks,pushes PVC and decor around.one time i was almost asleep,i heard something hit the floor,in the other room.he had spit a marble out a small opening.i will try to add a video:this is chew toy that hangs in his tank,he works it like a heavy bag sometimes.[video][/video]

I used to have a Niger Trigger that I would feed krill to by hand and if he saw my hands near the surface without a krill he would spit water at me.

Really cool! I always hear of saltwater fish spitting water... Sounds REALLY COOL! What all kinds of fish do this (i know archer fish do LOL!)

I trained my Oscar to watch football with me, or he may be hungry, and my jag to attack his digital thermometer sensor. or she just likes to attack shiny things. I do not advocate imprinting on your fish to jump.
 
I agree but so would many other people getting a fish to jump isn't showing your training skills or showing their intelligence, it just means they're really hungry and will even jump out of their comfort zone for food. Not impressive by any means i think.

Well i see what you are saying but if you keep repeating the process of getting them to jump they will not be out of their comfort zone because they are used to it.
