What i mean by comfort zone was my fear that they being out of the water ( for fish who do not naturally hunt this way ) will allow them to get air bubble trapped in them. even if they get used to it its not safe.

Virgil that fish is very cool looking!! I want one. I've been meaning to put a Ping pong ball in my midevil tank.
Coolest thing he does is every now and then he'll uproot the fake plant I have in there and then rebury it.

Thank ehh, definitely my favorite fish.too bad I didn't have room to grow out more of these, that was about 6 yrs ago. Ping pong ball is a good idea, I have also used plastic fishing lure tied to line
