I've always wondered how that would look. Do you have any photos of the setup?MsMassPoly;2103710;2103710 said:Nothing like sleeping with 8 rays for a head board.sometimes they wake me up.
I have the big tank down past the foot of the bed. There's a couch at the foot, some space, the tank (atop a dresser), some more space, then the closet. It's really nice because it also makes a barrier blocking view of the messy piles of clothes in the closet. But I am limited to 72"x18" with this setup. If I made it a headboard I could go 2' deep. I'm just not sure if I could pull it off.
The other two tanks are in the big open kitchen/dining/living area. The planted tank gets constant quick glances as it shares the wall with the TV and is visible from all couches and everywhere in the dining area and kitchen. The African cichlids are more in the corner and only visible from the table, but I work there, so they really end up getting the most attention overall, since whenever I stop to think or space out they're right in front of me.
So I'm around my fish 24/7, which is pretty cool. I try to get to bed early enough to sit there and watch the big tank for a while before lights out every night too. Sitting up in bed with the laptop or a book and watching the fish is nice and relaxing and helps me fall asleep.
