fish with monster teeth?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
No I said they belong to the Scomberoides, which U mentioned. I said nothing of them being characin. However, if u want to carry on then flying fish are characins and live not only in fresh, but warm, tropical Seas. If you don't know what kind of water is in a sea let me help you out since u seem kinda slow. Its saltwater.

And since you are very slow, not just kinda, have you heard of a hydrolycus scomberoides? :D

The scomberoides is not the genus, it's the species name, the genus is hydrolycus which includes armatus, the huge payara. Go back over this thread and read VERY slowly and very carefully, and maybe you'll realize the fish we're talking about are freshwater characins from the amazon and africa, and not saltwater fish, nor are they any relation do saltwater fish, being that they come from a completely different family and have a different genus.
