I don't like rays or goldfish. Goldfish are mindless little machines that eat everything, even their own excrement. Rays are just wrong, I mean, what are those things? If my tortilla ever sprouts eyes I'm gonna snap.

Goldfish are highly underrated, they are a lot smarter then most people give them credit for.

Rays are basically flat sharks...that make them all the more cool.

As most are saying, goldfish. The only thing they are good for is a cycle. That and pleasing a child for cheap, for a short while.

Well let me say I defend goldfish and they get a bad rap, just because they are never cared for properly (bowl vs. pond)used as feeders and basically seen as throw-away fish by many!! But to stay on topic I dont like bubble -eye or Pearlscale goldfish so I partially agree !

I have a friend with a pond (non-manmade) next to his house that has some large gold carp, (comets), that follow the native fish around. It's fun to throw some food in there and watch them. I'm pretty sure that many who dislike goldfish in that situation would probably change their mind and start thinking......
