Fish you don't see for sale anymore

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
From time to time , we must fell that some species are lost to inquire about them... hopefully most of fishes listed are still available in wild ... (maybe swordtail tetra would be harder to find even in nature...) ... unfortunally we cannot hold more tanks as we wish...

Depends on the Law of Supply and Demand.:)

Danios
Kribensis
Diamond Tetras
Julidochromis
Glass Bloodfin
Glass Catfish
Pearl Gouramis
Keyhole Cichlids

..many more..

Disappointing.:( So I have to save my cash for my vacation on the fourth week of April to shop in other places for fish.;)

OK - so ALL of these fish are seen in some locations or other...

Except one...

Has ANYBODY? seen swordtail characins/tetras (Corynopoma riisei) anywhere in the past 20 years?

I had one, as one of my very first fish, and have not seen a single other one since. That was about 20 years ago. (And I don't even know if they are golden in nature, because mine was gold.)
I'd love to get some to refresh that memory. He lived for a good 6 years or so.
