Fish youve had difficulties keeping?

Thanks for the info Stella...I know puffers eat snails but I figured that these guys must want something else becasue breeding snails is easy.
 
arius jordani, for some reason after a month or two of doing fine they allways belly up. I would like to grow one out. :swear:

are you keeping them in brackish/salt water?
 
tried them in brackish, think maybe I am not getting the salt content right. Any suggestions?

it's not a matter of being hardy..... it's just being eatten or jumping out or sucked in power head????? and they were all about 4-5 inchs :eek:

Snails have to be really, really, really tiny for dwarfs to eat them. These guys have mouths that are the size of the end of a ball point pen--a single bloodworm takes a couple of seconds to suck up and is enough to swell up a dwarf's belly.

Well I don't plan on getting any of them but I did have TINY pond snail hatchlings take over a tank.
 
The harder ones that I tried to keep alive where a pair of 2 kribs, The temperature was to high so I lost both in 3 days, but one of those 2 disappeared... :swear: Stupid catfish..It had to eat one.. I guess my other fish should be considered lucky..
 
I cant seem to keep gold fish alive....they always get munched on for some reason
