Fish youve had difficulties keeping?

Mine is Discuss.....
try so many times.....the longest I can keep them is 2 to 3 months.....after that sure die or sick......

Maybe some wrong approach use in keeping them.....

I have two fish that I never kept successfully. I had african arowana a couple years ago and they would just die out of no where. I also bought a 4 incher yesterday for $15 and and three hours later its floating on the top. the other is a giant gouami, I have had 3 very large ones and they have always bullied my arowanas from past to presesnt and are never compatible with my fish.
