yea i heard of bass fishing lure demonstrations. but i was wondering if anyone has done this with their fish?
Some fool probably has.

Oh, I can guarantee someone has, but even someone that stupid wouldn't be stupid enough to admit they did it, lol

Bad comparison. I don't think fish have nerves in the part of the lip they USUALLY get hooked through. I could be wrong though.
:iagree:
test it. go to a lake, use a weightless rig, lip hook a Sunfish, let the line go slack. it will just sit there stupidly, behaving normally.

I tried once with some feeder goldfish and a hook made out of a bent staple. Its extremely hard, mainly because they just mouth it and spit it out lol. Always hooked in the lip though.
You use a gaff?:headbang2

All fish eventually die lmao :D

Im sure people do it all the time to get fish out of heavily rocked tanks and large tanks where nets are just not an opton.

i did this before went fishing caught a fish put it in a tank went home and FISHED IT OUT with my hand then cooked it does that count?

I have found this method to be much more fun then using nets. I usually transfer fish to a different tank at least once a week, so I go fishing on a weekly basis:headbang2

Also, I've heard that many fish that are caught and released eventually die.

um as stated all fish eventually die, but no most fish caught and released heal relatively quickly and don't just die off. unless some idiot mutilates said fish to dislodge a hook.

i actually just glanced through an article that talked of how a guy hooked a trigger (not on purpose) and wrasse (purposely) out of his 12foot tank to catch/rehome the wrasse.
