CF, I dont go down to the river much but when you ready, just holla at me I'm down. My friend Josa tries every year to get me to go mess with the stripers but when they are running, the LMB bite has just got into full swing. I went down a few times and got some small ones.

Contest update-37-24(I'm up)
Well tonight was are second time fishing in the Friday Night tournament. The first time we got spanked.
Lake we were fishing is the smallest lake in the Assunpink system. "Rising Sun" is what I would call a hard lake to fish. 10 people showed up and the pot was a $100. I landed the first fish which was to short to weigh in. Bruh landed the next fish(another short). Then we didnt see anymore action until 10, where I was able to land 4 more(all shorts) on a 7" u-tail(motor oil) before time was up at 11pm. Only two fish were brought to the weigh in and the winning fish was 1.13 and about 5 people didnt catch anything. So we didnt win once again but I did have a better night then most of the fishermen. We stayed a little longer after it was over and no one was able to get a bite.
Well tonight followed the past weeks pattern by being SUPER slow but still had fun!!

Big Bruh backed out on me today, so I just took the boat out to "Etra".
Man, was it a long slow day. My biggest of the day was a small 14"er that hopped on the dinger.
Super slow, hot, long day but even with all that I cant think of anything else I would of rather been doing!!

well interesting day...i was fishing in the delaware river right under the commadore barry bridge in chester......bites were slow and i ended up with 1 channel, 2 stripers, 1 shad, and 2 sunnys and a GUN....lol
I thought i was caught and ended up reeling in a gun in a holster. the gun was pretty fresh with minimal rust....we called the cops since we had no idea what to do and CSI came and just took it.........lol

While I went to visit family out in the country, I did a little fishing out in a neighbors pond(w/ permission). Pond was great, did not have a camera so couldn't take any pictures. All the fish were no smaller than 12", and biggest ones were around 16". Used a buzzbait in the morning and evening, and a drop shot rig in the afternoon with a 2.5" white berkley minnow.
