Your pics look like afternoon or sometimes early evening . DO you have preference time for fishing?.

I leave work today at 2 pm was going to go but seems after 1pm fish don't bite nearly as much during the summer.

Here in NJ the bite is changing. Where is that the good bite for me has been from 2-6. Thats cause are water temp are in the 70's now. When it was super hot here, the water was in the high 80's and thats when its a early morning, late evening(2 hrs before dark) bite.

Apply this to understand when is the best time to fish your waters and what presentation will be the most effective. After the water gets over 80 it can get aliitle tricky.

My nephew called and said "take me fishing" so I gave in and went around the corner to "Etra".

I banged a little bass right off the back. Kyle couldnt close the deal on his first two fish(Small bass). I followed up with a my next being a decent size CP. Around 7 the bite started to pick up alittle. Kyle finally was able to land his first when a crappie hopped on his spinner bait. I went on to land two more bass and and Kyle got his first bass before we called it quits.

No monsters once again today but it was still fun to be on the water!!

I didnt think summer water got that hot in NJ . Canals here are also high 80s even low 90s unless except deeper canal areas.

i had a bad first attempt at bass fishing (caught none in 3hr) so decided to give it another chance today after 3months. Landed two in 1 1/2hr. Getting the hang on working the fake bait. first one was about 11inch and second 13inch didnt know how much it weight looked skinny

Today cause of the storm they cancelled the night fishing tournament. I didnt let that stop me. Called my fishing buddy Dennis and he was just as crazy as me to go out with it being cold,windy,and was rainning. So we met up at "Assunpink" the main lake.

About 5:30 the challange begun. I banged my first one on the second cast. Before it got dark I landed a decent CP and another small bass. I will say night fishing is alittle crazy but its even worst when you have bad weather. I tried to do the worm thing but it wasnt working for me, so I decided to throw the spinny. We seating in 12ft of water and im casting parallel to the grass line and bam im getting bites. So I Knew I was on to something, sure thing cause I lost a decent 2 pounder at the boat right after. The bite was tring to increase but my hands were getting really cold, so I gave up at 9:30. Dennis wasnt able to land anythng but he had a few bites.

Not the greatest day/night but it was ok!!!!
