After work today i went rite to the lake and my first cast was around 5:00. After about 30 minutes i finally banged one(14"er). At 6:00 a school of bass must of been swiming through cause i got my second bass and the couple next to me also caught one each. At that point i was getting alittle restless cause the bite was slow. I got another one shortly after then it went dead "so i thought". Before i gave up i walked the shallows but still nothing was popping. So i went in my bag of tricks and put on my favorite bait just for the hell of it, not really thinking i would catch anything on TOP-WATER but at that point i was in experiment mode and i just love the way the BUZZ BAIT comes through the water. On my second cast i had a small one blow up on it. When i seen that i was on CLOUD NINE for two reason, one cause that means the fishing season is in full swing and getting to see the bass come up and straight smash a top water lure by far is the best type of fishing on the planet. So after the first blow up my adrenalin was back like i had just arrived at the lake. So i went to the car and dropped off my other two poles and my bag and just took the one pole and my scale. When i got back to my favorite shore line i banged two small ones and i was about to leave but something told me to walk down alittle and thank GOD i did cause on the very next cast BAM a big behind bass blow up on the buzzy but missed it. I threw rite back in the same spot BOOM a nice 2.1lb bass
. Three cast later and about 50ft from where i had just landed the last fish from KABOOM a monster 3.1lb bass straight killed the buzzy .
I would like to conclude this update by saying never be afraid to experiment with different baits even if you think its not the right time of year for that particular bait. With that being said i really thought it was about 3 weeks to early for top water baits to be affective.

So after work i returned back to the same spot as yesterday, totally going against one of my rules "if you have a good day at a spot dont return the very next day". I should of stuck to the rule cause it was pretty slow long fishing day. I dont feel to bad though cause it was slow for everybody out there. I was able to get 4 small bass, one was so small my buzz bait was bigger then it, i tried to take a picture of it but the little dude decided he didnt want his picture taken and jumped of the hook as i reached for my phone.
Long slow day but atleast i caught something.

Well after work i went and picked up my nephew to come along with me on todays fishing adventure. After a 5 minute walk through the woods we were fishing by 5:30. Around 6 i had my first piece of action, a blow up on the buzzy. Not too long after i had another blow up but once again thats all it was, a blow up. After three more blow ups , i was starting to think that i was going home without a fish landed but NO NO. One finally hit the buzzy good enough for me to get a hook set, a small one but ha at that point i would of been happy with catching a bluegill 
. Shortly after i landed the small one i had a massive blow up and was super mad the fish didnt hit the buzzy right but i stayed calm and focused. About 10 minutes went by without any action, then out of nowwhere fishing parallel to the bank BOOM i landed a nice 2.5lb bass . I wasnt able to get anything after that so we packed it for the day at 8:00.
The fish didnt really start bitting until 7 but all in all it was a good work/fishing day!!!

Big bruh and i went to this new lake today that somebody told me was a good fishing spot. I didnt catch nothing or see nothing but some bluegills.
