Love surf fishing at PCB we did it at night so caught a big whiting and a ladyfish. My mom caught a good sized stingray. Also when we went swimming during the day hose juvenile pomps have no fear the try to nibble you and one about the size of yours swam right in front of us.

Do you find that with a boat your catching bigger bass and more fish than you did off shore?
Code:
Over all yeah but I have a couple of shore spots that's are accessible all the way the around that I do really well at. With "Etra" before I started putting the boat on it I would catch alot of fish but nothing big.

To all the bass fisherman where fall will begin soon, get ready. For the past two years I have landed my biggest in late September.

"Fall feed" is the your best chance to catch that big, lazy fish that wasn't very active since prespawn.

Hey mind shareing a few fall trips up intill last year I always hunted in the fall so I dont know much about catching bass in the fall. Last fall I spent most my time with salmon and trout but this year I think ill give some local lakes a try.

Well in the fall of last year, black & yellow yum frog caught me the biggest of the season!!

The biggest of 07 was also caught in the fall. See the fish here in fall get ready for winter by eatting VERY heavy. Plus in the fall all the average fishermen go home, so there is less pressure on the fish.

I find that the white spinner bait is the best choice of baits but everythng will pretty much work cause the are very active. Once winter comes I'll still throw the spinny but then it's time to bring out the crank baits, husky jerk baits, lipless cranks, and jigs.

If you were to ask me when is the best time to catch the big bass, I would say the fall time.

Right now I'm on my home from Ohio and MAN I wish I would of brung my poles cause we are passing mad water!!

I always thought cranking steep ledges close to shore was the way to go. Never thought of using a topwater frog in such cold water as it often is in the fall up here I will pull out the spinner bait box when I go.

i was up in new york visiting family...decided to hit up lake cayuga for a couple hours and only got one fish..yellow perch

also pictures of the lake and a cool waterfall that is actually 10 feet higher than niagra

Out collecting crayfish for bait and for my puffers this afternoon and caught 10in rainbow- don't let anyone tell you it is too hot for them to bite- just need the right bait (like a very small crayfish). I may be inspire enough to try before work again tomorrow.

The water isnt that cold in the fall time, in the winter i have never tried to use the frog but i might. Na for real, sound, and water movement is the ticket when the water gets below 60.

SPOTS FISHED-1

TIME FISHED-5.5 HRS

FISHED LANDED-5 :irked:

Wanted to unwind before starting the work week, so i went back to "Etra".

Caught 3 within two hours. Its was a slow day. Went on to land 2 more before calling it quits.

Nothing big,Cliff came out and didnt catch anything, and a very slow bite but it still hit the spot!!
