After getting off of work at 12 and going back to DMV(i hate that place) i decided to take advantage of the non rainny day. I arrived at 1:30 and by 1:39 i got my first catch of the day. The very nezt cast i banged another little one. On my travel around the lake i came across a polish dude fishing for catfish and carp. When i told him there was bass/CP in the lake he seemed surprised or didnt believe me, so after moving down about 20ft i banged one fishing parrellel to the bank and had him take the picture for me :). I said thanks for taking the picture for me and i got iback on my walk. About 15 minutes later i had something run down on the buzzy but didnt strike it, so my light bulb went off and i tied on a white spinny. After 3 cast BAM a decent one came running out of some lilly pads a strike the spinny. After that catch i walked to the back part of the lake. When i walked up i almost lost my mind, no lie it had to be every bit of 40-50 bass and sunnies just sitting there. So i threw the spinny in there and didnt get a response from any of the fish. So once again my light bulb went off, so i tied a on a dinger soft plastic jurk bait(worm/senko type bait). Caught one on that and kept switching plactics to see what they would respond to the best i tried tubes,frogs, and lizards but what was the ticket was a 10" u-tail(zoom). I got three on it but were all small ones, the big ones i was seeing wasnt bitting. As i continued my walk around i tied back the buzzy. On a parrellel cast i was able to bang a decent size one before i left 3:30.

On my way home i stopped by the house and was able to land one in like five minutes of bring there. I had my brother take the picture but he must of hit the wrong buttom cuase it not on my phone. :irked:

It was a decent fishing day but if i had caught something big it would of been a excellent day.

Nice catch. You ever see any Bears in NJ? I ask as was watching special on bears yesterday .

CONTEST UPDATE-Im-up/ 19-12 :headbang2

Well today we decided to take the boat out to Freehold,NJ. At about 11:15 the motor was in gear. We didnt see any action till around 2.

I was getting alittle restless and my shipmate was also, cause he wanted to give up and go somewhere else. I was against it cause of the amount work the new boat requires to load and unload. At that point i went in to my bag a tricks and tied a on a lipless crank. The grass on this lake has gone crazy, so as im pulling the lipless out of some grass i quess a bass grabed it but i didnt know it. I thought it was just some grass on the bait but when i seen the little bass striaght jump out the water with my lure going in a diffent direction i know the bass had hit after i ripped it out of the grass. Big bruh caught a small CP shortly after, ripping a crank bait threw the grass. He was still asking me if i wanted to leave and again i wasnt with it. Good thing i felt that way cause about 15 minutes after his catch i was fishing the bank parrellel with the buzzy and KABOOM a nice 4.0 pound bass straight KILLED the buzzy(50ft away) :headbang2. After that a hour and 15 minutes went by without any action but i stay focused. Good thing i did cause once again fishing parrellel to the bank KABOOM a nice 2.15 pound bass straight murdered the buzzy :headbang2. I went on to catch two more small bass and then we took it in for the day.

Not alot of fish landed but i hit the 4lb club today and thats always fun!!

I did a little catfishing today we caught one little 14 incher I had one throw me, one break me off and one that ran my line into the rocks breaking the line =(. Aslo caught some fish on my fun pole (ice fishing rod and bobber and worm) 1 smallie lots of rock bass and a few bluegill.
 
Went out last night late but couldnt catch anything, so I started trying to catch the big bullfrog I always see. He kept getting away but I managed to snatch a toad!

Today we decided to go to a very big lake in Princeton,NJ. When we arrived we seen that the water was very muddy but i said forget it lets do it(bad choice). It was windy as **** today. After hours of no action big bruh banged a crappie on a spinner bait. At that point i was ready to go but it made no sense to leave since we had been there so long on top of the fact that the boat ramp was like 2 miles away. On are way in big bruh was able to bang a decent 13" bass on a crank bait. Alittle down the bank i was able to get a crappie on a husky jurk bait. Nomore action came are way so we packed it for the day.

Muddy water,high winds, and a low water temp made fishing very hard today but atleast we didnt get skunked. Plus i just get finish eatting the crappie so atleast i got something out a super slow fishing day.

went out today to lake MI and i caught a small king, approx 2-3 pounds on a red and black thin fin and thats it for the day. Thats only the second king ive ever caught. also when fileting the king i noticed that it had eggs forming. Is this normal or is this somthing odd? the eggs were small about the size of a bluegills or a perchs eggs. thus they werent fully formed but they were already orange :screwy:.
 
I have seen some crappies before that had eggs inside of them so ill say thats normal. Whats a king?
