is it spring yet? Headed back down to Florida Christmas-New Years so hopefully end the year with a bang!! Probably still get out carp fishing a time or two here soon.

Planning on hitting the warm water discharge again friday, taking a neighbor along. Hopefully we can put him on some fish. He's been bragging about the 5-7lbers hes been catchin with his buddy below the dam, his jaw dropped when he saw the 23lber we caught. Id really like to put him on a 10lber or bigger but well see hopefully the discharge is still over 60 degrees
Want to be on the water so bad buts its bday weekend so I'm headed to DC...

almost caught the skunk and had some serious problems. current at discharge was very strong, get a danforth anchor and 10ft of anchor line wrapped around the prop. had to hang off the back of the boat and cut the line, man that water is cold! Got a 7lber before we left though. considering calling it a year though, so busy with school and work its ridiculous. March will be here before i know it!
Glad to hear u made in back in safely and yeah it's sucks but the season for us is drawing to a close.....
yikes. sounds like a nightmare. Glad you got to save the skunk though. Channel? Its sad to have to hang it up on the cats. I did it when I got home from Florida late October. Ive almost given up on going out for carp too on account of the cold weather. Im itching for spring already 
went down to the beach after the speckled trout again, caught 30 undersized fish most being within 2" of keeper size. guy i fished with managed two nice 19" keepers, hopefully make it down there one more time this year. weather has been all messed up it was over 70 degrees down there today in mid november! that just doesnt happen here smh
Jworth, if you can make it down to the falls of the Ohio, you will have some excellent fishing for Sauger. One of my favorite winter time fishing up there.
Down here in FL though I wont have to worry about ice on the guides on my rod!
The fall pompano run is in full swing, been heading out an hour or two before sunset and get some just about every trip surf fishing. Here is this evenings catch. And man are pompano ever so tasty, been having them for dinner at twice a week or so for the last few weeks and I aint tired of them yet!
