Good grief that is a lunker! Where and what bait? I had a big male chase an xrap in Miramar but receded back to the depths after. Only one I saw there. Just assumed numbers there were limited due to consecutive cold winters. Hardly any were visible and the ones I caught were also not visible. What's the secret?
Lmb are never a challenge for me but these peacocks really seem to elude me.
The time that you came down here was also notthe best. Best time to catch peacocks is late spring/early summer... Their all over the lakes in the shallows and you sight cast to them... Very fun on fly

for snakeheads too...last year i couldnt stop them from taking my bait along with big arse tilipias up in coconut creek area during the spring months...breeding season starts then...
I use to catch 18" pbass allllll day long in cooper city...males and females....the lake i go to have a huge population of LMB and bluegills so the pbass were well fed all the time....now that lake has nothing but LMB and bluegills...LOL...trying to restock that lake with pbass...
Does it have any big largemouths...25"+?
Im in a bass tournament on another forum that ends in a couple days and the leaders bass is currently 24", and the biggest bass ive caught this month has only been like 19 -.- havent had much luck thus far this year
