went fishing saturday night, 9/24. Caught a pair of 9lb channel cats. broke my scale when the second one slimed me and then the scale slipped out of my hand and hit the pier hard 
i didnt even want to keep fishing, if i caught a monster how would i know how big it was, going out today to get another though

well I didn't do any good saturday. Got out late and got run out of my spot early by a cop trying to be an ass. I am fishing on a public river but where I park is in a park that I have to walk through some wilderness to get to my spot. Will be dropping gear off and parking across the highway and riding a bike back next year. Also scouted a bit south thinking the confluence of the two rivers would provide some nice places to fish, but there was just no access except another park closed at 11. BRING ON FLORIDA.

i have some mathematical formulas for calculating the sizes of bigger fish but they dont work so well on anything under like 30 lbs. they got my 38lber earlier this year within .75 lbs which i thought was pretty impressive.

Fish landed-11
The 23rd was a after work trip with Dennis at Rosedale, I banged one and he landed one also......
9-24 was a 10 and half hour boat trip on lake Mercer hoping to land a musky. Slow day, no musky but I banged 7 and Dennis landed 2......
9-25 was a 8 hour boat trip at Etra where I banged 3 and D landed nothing....
The weather probably has the fish all messed up. The water temp with all the rain came down to the low 60's and that will trigger fall feeding but within days it was back to mid 70's and that just puts them back in the summer pattern. Once all the F-ing rain stops and the temps become consentent fall feed will be in full swing. With fall feed you will get days where the BASS will bite ALL DAY long, lets hope I can get atleast one of those days before the water frezzes.......

I want to but it makes no sense cause my girl is coming to NJ on the 5th. Ill diffinitly want to come back down there B4 the years out tho......
aight no worries, havent got ahold of him yet but hopefully my brother has work off saturday and ill be hittin the coast, if not i may just have to use my day off to nap haha
