went today early in the AM to a private pond managed by DNR that requires a permit (that i have) to fish. Dad and I caught 4 largemouths between 12-15" and then we headed over to the pier to kill another hour and caught a small yellow perch on a minnow. Their run up the rvier should begin soon, pretty excited.

Went out to a pond a few weeks ago and caught a lot of bluegill and bass. It was a ton of fun to finally catch some nice fish!
I haven't contributed in a while unfortunately, got in to some fish yesterday though

Fish landed-24
10-2 was a boat trip out to Farrington where it was a slow day but I managed a 2.8 on the trick the old timer taught me and two small ones. We didnt land any but the Northerns where out......
10-9 was a boat trip to Gropps and it was also a slow day but I banged a crappie and two small bass.....
10-12 was a hour and half shoreline trip at bakers basin where I banged one(money minnow) and let a nice three pounder get off

10-16 was a return trip back to Farrington to play with my new secret weapon and Northern dreams. The new trick banged small bass, one crappie, one blue gill, one yellow perch, and I missed a small CP. I believe it was responsible for 10 out of my 17 fish landed, they were all small. My bigger fish came on the all white dinger fishing it like a fluke but the two biggest fish came on the chatter bait with one being a solid two pounder and the other was a 4.1 !!!!!
I havent been going fishing that much since my wife passed away life has changed alot for me but best to believe FW fishing will always be apart of my life !!!!!

good to hear ur still catchin em up there man, still time for that 6+ before the years out just gotta make it down here where the big fish play
lookin forward to it bro. heading back down to the beach monday in search of more trout hopefully some flounder and definitely some false albacore.
Went out today to the same pond and finally got a notable 1.5 lber, first one in a long time! Got two small other bass, probably 1/2 lbers. Got them all steady retrieving a small black and blue spinnerbait. First good fishing in a while!
